Realizing its being years since I saw this much stars up in the skies. The beauty of staring up in the skies alone, one can tell this is a blessed space

I shut my eyes; breathe in the fresh air as a tiny smile escaped my lips, I talk, talk and talked about my deep thoughts of you to anyone and anywhere.

I was nowhere close to been committed enough to you.

The love around me was so blissful amongst happiness, work, sadness and stress,

This to me was living…..I got myself back, after years apart I got my one and only first love back.

So much love, I burst out crying hard……realizing I had lived a life without my home.

I left my heart at home……..

Lagos is where my heart is……Las gidi my home.

And yes…..I have only counted few stars (at night) in my years here…and no be because of NEPA (PHCN will always be NEPA to true gidi folks)

Even the weather app on my phone displays thousands of stars in the evening and none is displayed here

Walking Talking

When SamKlef is involved in any video, I expect nothing but good outcome and production. His new video which he produced and tittled Walking Talking fell short for me compared to his previous songs like Suwe,dancing Machines and more, which all grooved over melody.....walking talking was not inspring at all.

      There is only one fuji artist that can pull an Afro hip-pop song,an impressive hook that leaves the entire fuji and music lovers in shock.Wasiu Alabi popularly knows as Pasuma gave me the shock of my life today when I listened to and watched his new video tittled Abo (Outcome). I fall under the "pasuma is a delicious and handsome man" category who never for once listened or danced to his song. Pasuma has no doubt just changed the fuji and music game with this 360 stunt he pulled with this song and video.

There comes a time when I just hear a song with powerful, realistic, uncomplicated message with no booty emphasizing lyrics that I can relate to. Double Wahala by Oritse Femi is one of those songs. The not so new act dedicated the song to one of Africa's Music Legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

      Double Wahala is dedicated to Fela Anikulapo Kuti whom I personally call "the soothsayer',and clearly Oritse Femi showed his love for the legend through his dance steps and backup dancers as they will make you say thats so fela.

      Its no news the popular twin-duo P-Square have always idolized legendary Music icon Micheal Jackson,but the moves and concept of their brand new video Ejeajo takes their love for the legend to a whole new level. I have got nothing but love for Peter and Paul since their omoge me, senorita days and they really have come a long way and changed the music scene with . They recently released a new much promoted video featuring one of the top American rapper and music producer (My Man) T.I who never fails to impress.

NEA Awards 2014

     

The 9th Nigerian Entertainment Awards is a way of honoring best producers,artist,actors and actresses of the past year. The event was held on Sunday, August 31 2014 at Skirball Performing Art Center in New york, USA. Funke Akindele and Ace Comedian Bovi were the host of the night with co-host Gbemi Olagbegi (Gbemi O) and some of today's hottest musical acts performed live like,Orezi,  BOJ,Patoranking,J Martin,Harry Song,Praiz,ShattaWale and a host of others.The event was less of an award show and more of a huge concert with interrupted speeches from winners and performing artist.
