I remember when I first heard Girlie O by Patoranking I thought this must be a Jamaican born but noooooo hes Lagos breed, I got the same feeling with Cynthia Morgan ( LOVE her) and now Play. I just cant fathom how my Nigerian family come up with different accent, own it and make it look good. Those who recognize Plays charmed single Never Lie listening via your phone or YouTube would probably be surprised the way I was; I mistakenly thought this is Jamaican or Caribbean but never thought it was the Abia born new artist.

      The success of Never lie lies not only to Play delivery but to the genius behind the lyrics, video concept and clearance Peter. Play commendable qualities didn't go unnoticed visually/audio, he isnt just making his first official video and debut, he confidently owned this with an impressive lyrics. I love the verses and the hooks even more.
      Overall, PLAY came out shinning with this song proving that he can only get better.
