Synopsis
Fini (Funso Adeolu) is an only child, a rich philanthropist who takes care of family, friends strangers but his mom (Iyabo Odunkanmi) is extremely poor.
Lets Talk Review
Fini is a chronic philanthropist who makes it his job to help others in need, from street thugs to motor park local association talk less of families. He consistently helps everyone in need and his loved by all because of
his good habits. However, his mother lives in abject poverty, constantly ridiculed by neighbors, families and friend as a waste and embarrassment to the name of FINI.
During the first part of the movie, I couldn't help but wonder what was going on, who is deceiving who. Eventually I figured out who and for the remainder of the movie, all i wanted to know was what  Fini's mother did to deserve all this. What strikes me about the simple yet deep thinking movie is the production, the editing, lighting, costume, camera work, the storyline and off course the lead characters role, everything was fantastically done well.
The reason and ending of the movie is another story entirely. The reason for Fini's horrible treatment of his mother was finally revealed and I just thought; the decision she made was bad and very convincing for which is the moral part of the movie. Young girls should pay safe when having sex, pregnancy isn't the worst case, there are a lots of diseases out there. The part I have a problem with is making it known that Fini who has a wife, family and friend is a mythical being who intentionally came to the world to spite his mother and make
her life unbearable.Instead, it should be passed on like he knew nothing about it, and there should definitely be a way out for both mother and son to work on their issues since she ultimately sacrificed her happiness for her sons life isn't that what a mystical person should have forseen?........ah well
Overall, Abinuwaye is an entertaining and the best part is its not a waste of time and very compelling line.
