Synopsis
Wami seemed smart due to due to her way of life after deciding to impersonate a high profile lady but her irresponsible act cost her more than she bargained for.
Lets Talk Review
Its no news how many movies are released monthly in Africa, you being to wonder the reason why they were released for their utter nuisance it contains while some are solely on screen for pure entertainment regardless of the recycled contents or just everyday reality check. Nonetheless, Opeyemi Onadija took popular word PACKAGING to another level in Wami.
The movie was shot in Lagos, giving a clear picture of the new-craze in Lagos and in the middle of that whole craziness is Wami. She follows the trend in the city creating a profile (packaging) for hersel; no one got game like her, she is so good even Dangote will have her as a business partner. Her packagaig skills or rather lies became her way and means to an end, she carried on ignoring word of caution and warning from her mother ( Toyin Afolayan).
The gratifying part of the movie is the moral behind the story......boys and girls need to stay true to themselves, their pocket and beyond that.Just like every other movie, the characters were great from Femi Adebayo, Biodun Okeowo, Toyin Afolayan and the rest. The one unfamiliar face was the lead role Opeyemi Onadija wasn't bad and quite impressive.
Overall, the editing, sound and picture quality was good with an awesome cast.Wami is a movie you will skip through because of the tittle and it isnt the fall of your seats laughing kind of movie but it has an excitement to it and worthy watch in the end.
Rating 8/10
