Lets Talk Review
The movie centers around a young, bright and novice girl Omorinsola (Bose Oladimeji) who lives with her self centered, wicked mom who treats her like she isn't hers; she constantly fail Omorinsola as a child. She almost dropped out of school because her mom would rather spend money on her body cream, parties and clothes; Omorinsola's cousin Korewa (Adedimeji Adetola) was her hero who helped her with furthering education through his dad's financial help.
The movie is filled with so many twist, that had me saying awww,WTW and really. The production and direction was great, the actresses and actors were awesome, perfect location; the movie is educative (no news there) and few directions in life, why no one should hate, why its imperative for every one to/should be self determined and not fall under peer influence. The movie is filed with love, betrayal, trust and incest.
However, I wouldn't have said anything bad about this movie if some on the story lines were adjusted or changed. For example, omorinsola was disqualified at an educational award event because none of her family member was present (am sorry, there are thousands of orphan who excel and receives award...shocker!!!)...really!!! instead of doing that, the writer should have went with a scholarship line and that the school will hold on to it before she picks it up instead of disqualifying and giving it to a "runner up".There are also others but I chose not to talk about it or else I would be telling you everything about the movie.
Overall, this is a one part, very interesting and entertaining movie. I didn't regret watching it and I am sure no one will.
Rating 7/10
Is this a movie review or a friendly chat? Little wonder we keep encouraging idiocy in this country. I bet it's another "blockbuster" filled with impossible scenes, senseless time-wasting, voodoo, and incredible subtitling. Nigerians need to grow beyond these things and demand excellence or at least some form of it.
