Emem Isong brought the classy, very intentional romantic moments with a plot I am so accustomed to, girl meets ex, girl begs innocent good sister to cover for her, sister falls in love and blah blah blah.
The plot in this film is not new so I won't be talking about how it reminded me of an old movie; its a case of identical twins swicthing places and the aftermath of the switch.......YEP!!!!

Mbong Amata

The film opens with Darima (Mbong Amata) and Joshua (Majid Michel) in their home as husband and wife; Darima is the wild heart nonchalant, I love you but love myself more kind of wife while Joshua is the, I will do anything for my wife kind of husband. Darima is getting ready for her best friends birthday Bibi (Diana Yekini). Her ex Tom (Ik Ogbonna) was also at the party and lets just say the sexy-bad boy persona (which he did very well ) lead her to agree to Tom's ideas and the tale of catch and mouse ensued.
      What strikes me hard through out the movie is the value of delivery from the characters, the locations, the lighting, the language, pretty much all the effects all impressed not that I expect anything less from

Majid Michel

 Lancelot Imasuen (director), Emem Isiong (story) and surprisingly Mbong Amata (producer). Not once in the course of this movie did I move; not because it was out of the world plot but I love
the delivery of the main characters. Diana Yekini is one actress I am looking for to; in a lead role (fierce performance). Mbong Amata is one actress I just never saw until I saw Black November and I thought okay.....timid looking but that's her role and this however had her as innocent and wild. She did very well and would love to see her in a tough role. That being said, she did great in this movie; so did the rest of the cast.
     

Ik Ogbonna

However, there were few times I go....uhh Red Flag in between scenes; where Majid Michel who is no doubt a good actor tends to over act and probably go off scripts, by taking the suspense out of

Diana Yekini

the not-so suspense-filled movie. Emem Isong (story) also should have hidden the main character to a latter time till everything unfolds, doing that will give the viewers the surprise factors. In addition, the timelines for Joshua's discovery was off and the wedding album was a miss, no one has a wedding album with same picture page by page, in this case the cameraman should have showed the album once. And if you feel so bad know that you have an impostor in your house, why wait before you call them out!.
      Overall, the story, the editting, diecting (Lancelot Imasuen)and character's performances were great and refreshing to watch.
