Lets Talk Review
letoyinspeak.comOjo eti takes you deep into the life of  Chief George and his family as they all struggle to keep the family together. The movie begins with a drunk Erioluwa (Mide Martins) banging on the gate, demanding the gates be opened, she went on talking about why he (gate man) didn't open the date on time and in turn he (gate man) told her it was too late for a woman to be getting home this late and yada yada yada (same o line). The film continues to narrate the irresponsible life of Erinoluwa the last born of the rich and famous cheif George (Akin Lewis) and wife (Jaiye Kuti).
letoyinspeak.com      Mrs George devoted her life to Christ and as such gives special thanks to God every Friday....hence Ojo Eti to worship him; same days Erinoluwa goes clubbing, comes home drunk and her mom ends up cleaning her up. The fed up parents scolded their daughter leading to a confrontation between Erinoluwa and her dad that ultimately lead to the death of Chief George.

Mide Martins (Erinoluwa) played the rebellious daughter who is the only suspect in the death of her father; judging by their very rigid relationship. The investigation into the death of chief George unravel a lot about the family and many more suspects are identified. Ojo Eti is a dark and thrilling movie, full of suspense; that looks into the lives of the rich and famous dirty secret and lives of  extended family and friends. The film is an absolute thrill that surrounds multiple victims, one villain and multiple hero's, I love the dark plot Ojo Eti has, the George's family is the family everyone want to be belong to yet a family no one want to be a part off. I love how each characters are separately defined even though they had the same problem.
letoyinspeak.com      I applaud the writer of this movies Kenny George. The film takes addresses one of the atrocities in our society . An awesome suspense movie with interwoven characters, awesome cast and performances. For the first time ever, I love the soundtrack of an African movie that tells me what the movie is about just by listening to the sound track, but this points out the a little about the movie and not the entire movie.

Everyone is a Suspect!!!!

FYI.....The movie is available on IbakaTV
