Mavins!Mavins!!Mavin!!!. You got to love this crew. You want to know why!!!!,
They have a manager who knows the music business-Don Jazzy who isn't in the game just for the fame and quick cash.....this is BUSINESS,  four (Dprince, Di'ja, Reekado and Korede) young artist whose music, personality and voice appeal to different people, Tiwa Savage and Dr Sid. That's one power house talent. Their new music video Looku Looku hit the waves few days ago; Looku Looku- means em..em...haters gonna hate ......pretty much sum it all up.

Lets talk Review
I have always thought Don jazzy has nothing to offer when it comes to singing, hes had almost a decade in the industry to show himself, sadly most of the time all I see is just a walking stick  royal walking stick looking like a pimp bouncing with fur wrapped around him. All he says is 'Don Jazzy' or 'its Don Jazzy'. Fast forward to 2014 when I saw Adaobi (Adaobi Video review) ,  I just remember saying about time...about time!!!.
      The crew immediately evoked tingling sensation in me with the fast threaded beatz....its nostalgic feeling (yep!!!....I loved it that much). The pumped beatz may not be contagious but its infectious (hahaha). Musch adoration to the combination of vocals, lyrics  and beats gave a new definition to team that loves music and entertaining. Don Jazzy opened the video with his verse and As I said earlier, it was nice to hear him again and I looked at him like food just as he said

tell me why them hate me, I be like food dem won chop me, jealousy...

(only i wasn't hating)

Mavins so complements one another, Reekado took the next verse picking up the same energy from hia boss and with his atmospheric vocals, followed by D'prince. I think D'prince verse is my favorite, his countenance, his efizzy. I have never seen him so comfortable; he showed so much composer delivering his line. Dr Sid I must say is the only that seems to be having fun in the video and it clearly shows through out his line. Although I did see a little comic gesture fro Di'ja but not like Dr Sid. Korede Bello as usual looking innocent also delivered his line while Tiwa Savage took the last verse. 

      However, I wanted more from the video and I didnt like the simplicity of the video.  I wanted few stories lined to it;if not all of the crew at least Tiwa savage and Reekado banks. why?....when Reekado won rookie of the year award at the headies, there were quite a number of hating which is what looku looku is about... so here should been the perfect medium to create a story, they could have him walking into a place and leaving with trophy of some sort....that would have folks crack up and also same goes to Tiwa savage who had lots of rumors
around her...this was the perfect way to deliver the diss in her verse which she did but a story and comic added to it would have been way
better. In addition, there was no eye zooming in and out anywhere in the video. Instead of the extra cheering on for them, they should have started them of as on lookers and then cheer for them

 Overall, looku looku is nice video with a great tune. The group did not lose the energy it started with and ended with just on the same note. Looku looku beatz strongly embrace every fiber in me and I immediately  found myself adding one more song to my play list.Talk about resonant, lyrically speaking Mavin are on top of their domination.
