This week; the singer is finally taking acre of his ‘own’ business. Yesterday he released one of the most anticipated song #anticipatedbyme titled Baby Jollof featuring Mavins queen Tiwa Savage.

Little confession before I go on, I was very skeptical about Solidstar's latest video Baby Jollof featuring Tiwa Savage; a video about love interest and adoring a woman. I have been waiting close to five months for this video, you can imagine how excited I was when I heard the news that the video don port. Per the lyrics and chorus; I constantly try to picture how the video would be, what concept would be used and I personally could not come up with one (….which rarely happens #teeth).....so lets just say I was again; going to see what the video and concept turn out to be.

      The song/video lasted for three minutes plus of dance tune and thrills, the video employed a soft and flirty lyrics to a fast beat tune. What goes unnoticed is the location, the cars packed on the street and extras shown in the beginning of the video, its a typical neighborhood evening and that pretty much love the concept (neighborhood love) which is what baby Jollof is about. #jonesing
The video was fresh, fun, not unique but still it gives a clear picture of how perfect and true neighborhoods are. However, what bugs me about this artist why his videos are not off the charts; it isn't a question of talents and skill but he just doesn't get his dues.  Personally I think its because of his inability to captivate his fans or fans are not just captivated (screwed up...I know).
      This is a level A production, right tempo. perfect cadence, this is definitely the best pull from solid star.
