Korede Bello aka African Prince is young, talented teenager signed under Mavin Record (SMD). He became more popular after signing under Mavin Record Label (SMD) under Don Jazzy. Although, I have known of him after seeing is  I love naija video on YouTube; he was probably very very thirteen-ish young, he blew my mind with his instrument and voice..... His brand new music video and viral song Godwin and his goofiness is loud!!!!.

I don't think I listened to the entire song once in my car or out when it first came out, why!.....because it sounded so cheesy!!! Being a Bellover since #longtimeago, this song just doesn't cut it for me. All that changed when I played and listened to the song late last month while on a road trip.

    the official video was released last week along with SMS text  and emails from friends asking why I haven't reviewed the song. I have another CHRONIC BELLOVER asking me to post my thought on his 'boy' way before the video came out.  I finally saw the video and I totally forgot about the lyrics all I could see was a young bubbly artist enjoying himself and totally in love with music (no one gets that more than me). I came around the 3rd time to finally gather my thoughts on the video, lyric and concept.

Steve Yawnaija

      The video concept went exactly how I pictured it, the 'alert', 'the car' and the 'pass exam' lyrical line except for the featuring artist Bovi, Yawnaija, Ay and Tolu. The direction, production, costume the different montages and the white sunny bright picture quality and concept  were great. The lyrical content is not the best each line had Godwin and it touched a nerve but; it is simple, straight, awesome beatz and most of all entertaining.

Korede Bello

      Overall, the video is nice, tune is great ( I like his make up..heheheh) and who can forget his dance moves and winks; he looked so adorable and cheesy. Personally not really into the lyrics, that being said; this lyrics can only work for one person, and that's Korede Bello, e no go fall my hand and God no go fall my hand.....Na Godwin.
