Lets Talk Review
It has been extremely hard, annoying and difficult to find/watch good movies in the last month, when I saw an alert of new movies on irokoTV I simply picked the most attractive cover and went with it; boy was I glad I picked While you Slept!!! yep I did.
Its no news that there are many writers in Nollywood ( Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa) that produce movies monthly, 75% of this genre falls far from short and highly miss road horribly, 25% of the rest isn't original, but executing in some cases is the issue and the rest is just delightful, simple and straight to the point and enjoyable; which brings me to While You Slept
The movie was shot in Lagos and it centers around a new widow Ini Edo and the aftermath her situation. It all started with a couple playing like two teenagers, she stepped out; when she came back her husband was gasping and foaming from the mouth which lead to his death. Everything went drown the drain for the once happy couple and life when Najite (Venita Apkofure....fine Bae) and her son whisked in as the second wife and only child of the man.
While you Slept is an exciting, sweet and pleasant movie,initially thought it was culled from Sandra Bullocks 1992 while you were sleeping movie judging by the tittle but it was totally different and more intriguing than just a wife and a side chick move. Ini Edo was just being Ini Edo, sweet and talented, so also was Benjamin( Tega) (no news there), Venita Akpofure is an amazig actress that gets viewers to love her. I love the evil character she got going and this is my favorite role of hers so far. The lead roles and supportig cast, locations, costume and story were great.
Overall, While you slept is not the best movies out there but this was great, very entertainig....

Overall, While you slept is not the best movies out there but this was great, very entertainig....
