Reminisce (Album Cover)

Remilekun Abdul-Kalid Safaru popularly know as Alaga ibile, Reminisce is a Nigerian artist , a rapper and song writer from Ogun state. He has two past  albums Book of Rap Stories and Alaga Ibile which I have never listened to but know few tracks from his second album, the collection just got an addition with the release of his third album BabaAfusa
Baba Afusa meaning Afusa's dad, Afusa is his lil daughter's name.
Lets Talk Review
Reminisce has an extreme flair for indigenous best, worst behavior with his lyrics that are commanding, sharp and entertaining. He spends time creating a 17 tracks of records and dope lyrics giving a picture filled with the struggle and the perks of being successful, its such a cliche but its coming from a place of truth with a top notch lyrical content, in order words...everyone has a story to tell.
Grind opened the album with an awesome track featuring Sojay, he writes about how is being steadfast in the pursue of his career and more but what catches me most is the featuring act...Sojay3. I don't know who Sojay is but he slayed it on this track and album. The next track Baba afusa completely threw me off, I was expecting a track dedicated to his daughter (afusa) or being a dad but this was far from that but instead about his prowess in bed, that was nowhere close to his skills on bed to a fun side of him in  Saida. The track specially shines brighter than any track, from the beats to the chorus, its lyrics will make anyone love him, Saida is a track you hear and still lingers on for hours. I was almost shocked not when I heard Busayo for its explicit content, I totally love this track for its composure and the pick up where I left from thing they got going. I totally love how they narrated their ordeal and on this track he f. There is always a track in a an album that you just want to know who the beef is with, who the girl is or who the diss is directed, I need a Girl  is an example, a song about Reminisce tale of love, sex, disappointment that eventually led to his heartbreak, after all the dissing in the verses the hook just makes me laugh and curse his comic line and genius move:
im not sayin I dont love you
im not saying I dont care
you know how I adore baby is this really fair
ofe ma take me for granted
tori mo fe ran e
(because I love you)
I need a girl that will give me all i want
baby you be olosho, olosho, olosho
The overall production was good, a good album tittle even though it completely throw me off considering the content of the album, his strong points as a rapper and singer is his voice consistency. The downside is, it can get boring especially if the content is same ol alagibile spats. On a light nor  However wonder if he's attends cele (not that anything is wrong with attending celestial church) because he occasionally uses the double clap effect that reminds me of cele;  which brings me to one the highlights in the album ALAGBARA track totally love everything about this track.  The guest appearance tracks Iceprince, Olamide, Phyno, sossick, Sojay, seantizzle and vector all kept up with their respective verses. Busayo ft Iceprince is my favorite of all.
Overall, I love this album his talent, his swagg and content; starting the album with a sweet and skyrocketing tempo, between the smooth RnB, Afro hip hop, rap to the many slangs.. Each track is worthy of praise and that's entertainment

Reminisce dedicated followers will definitely love #BabaAfusa and on the other side, fans who are just into him will find a lot of inspiration that will inspire them to love his music and love him too
