Dr Sid
Dr Sid is a member of Mavins crew SMD (Supreme Mavin Dynasty), following the release of Surulere in 2014 he made a name for himself worldwide. Months back he released Oyari which wasn't impressive but hoping the next video would be better. Sadly that's not the case for his newly released video Chop Ogbonna, same concept of suit and ladies.

The most outrageous crime committed in Nigeria music and video is that there is a lot going on with the lyrical content, when you finally see the video; you can’t help but say...WTF. Such is the sad case of Dr Sid latest music Video Chop Ogbono ft. Olamide. Without wasting time let me go straight to the reasons why the video is boring and shouldn't have existed in the first place.
The video isn’t working for Dr Sid and seriously doubt if it would work for another artist. Not the concept, not the lyrics, surprisingly not the beats and for an artist who occasionally got the ‘I can Pose Swag’ didn’t save the video. The picture, his “swag” and behavior was far too enthusiastic for the flat and boring video
Can I have you number

Hook:

And the train wreck goes on and on. How do you go from meaningless to another, his team needs to consider a lyricist for better packaging. The featured artist Olamide who is known for his rap skills but his vulguarity could not even save the video and instead a complete turn off even with his vulgar verse.
The video would have probably worked better if him and his team can just decide what message they are trying to convey. I thought he would do better following the lyrical disaster in Oyari.
Overall, the song and video would have been better off if it never existed. Clearly Dr Sid needs a lyricist because Chop Ogbonna is as slimy as ogbono can be.
