Following the disastrous debut and music video Hi and itz ova, I never thought I'd hear Tonto Dikeh sing ever again even if it was movie role, fast forward to 2014 when I heard Sugar Rush and thought….#shesabad...youknowwhat. Not because it is the best sound I have heard (not worse either) but because she pressed on, somewhat got better and just need to work on her voice . Looks like the video was shot in South Africa ( somewhere in Africa) in a diner concept as poko is seen behind the counter and occasionally off the counter attending to customers .
The concept is good and sync well with the contents. The lyrical and hook content were not bad either:
NO be say you tush
but the kinda love wey you give me
dey give me sugar Rush
oya baby pause
sufry sufry no dey rush
I want to feel your every touch

This song might not be the hottest cake but its has a gyrating feel to it and I like it. Further more, the lyrics are good and totally sync line by line.... better than a some artist who's been doing this for years;
If em no like us
I go still follow you
baby, Make u no do like johnnny
so baby don’t do me cunny….
Bravo POKO lee

That being said, I would have loved more of her personality to fly of the radar in this video, more camera on her instead of the room. Her female dancers should have opt for a more girly outfit like a short pants instead of the long trousers than what.

Overall, Tonto did a good job with this video for a new comer. It was really entertaining .
