Lets Talk Review
Two parts movies are usually a complete turn off to me; but sometimes curiosity got the best of me so I pressed on and most time I realize at the end that the concluding part is yet to be released. The latter is the case of EJE TUTU. The first part movie got me glued to my sit desperately waiting to see the end
only to get the shocker of....to be continued. Fast forward to what seems to be like seven months and the concluding part hits the web.
Tangaran is the most influential criminal in town with blazing gun crew, Taiwo is a cop and Tangaran's brother who wants Tangaran(Rasaq Owooniran) in jail.Taiwo is an upstanding and law abiding citizen. With each unaware of family ties continue with their way of life, until they met face2face.
The quality of the video, sound checks and colors were 'top notch', the cast didn't fail me either and by the end of the first part of the movie, it didn't take a second or third to see that its worth the effort and time watching. Rasaq Owooniran (Tangaran,Taiwo, cool money) is a confirm actor with his multiple role and rad performance in each character. The location for the most part was good and few glitches needs to be corrected most especially the robbery scene and total climax of the movie.
The concluding part of the movie introduced new characters, comic relief; thanks to Muyiwa
Adegoke, Jide Kosoko and also new shocking character that totally confused me and everything went just down spiraling out of control, most part of the movie was all about robbery, the first installment character were slightly forgotten until towards the end. There should have been a mistaken identity scenarios for parties involved after all they all not just live in the same state but their jobs cross boundaries. Whatever happened to Yinka Quadri's encounter with both the criminal and the cop in part one?
Overall, the first part of the movie was nice and my anticipation for the end result fell short due to over reaching, leading to a rhetorical question of is that it,Talk about cliff hanger.
