Let’s
talk Review
The last Nigerian artist that rap this good was
Ruggedman; and I never thought there will be another...unitl Phyno came into my life (hahahahah). Phyno’ s rap is very tight and solid, the song is very unique,
different and very catchy. It is a bilingual song of Igbo dialect and English
and nothing beats originality. If an artist can rap in his/her dialect, then
he/she can do anything, Alobam is original
Hence,
Men
pasa na ogbe juo ese ige afu na ha bu Alobam
(Men
are in the hood, ask around and you will know they are my Alobam)
Men
mu anya and ha adiro arukwa kam,iga afu na ha by Alobam
(They
are awake and don’t deceive, you will know they are Alobam)
Phyno has a very positive message in ‘Alobam’ from the beginning
to the end of the song, the concept of the video was RAD, kudos to Clearance
Peters for a job well done on direction, and all of Phyno behind the scene team.
However, this video would have been the best song of the
year for me, if music lovers all over the world could know the message in the song by doing some sort of intro at the beginning to let us know what Alobam
means.
Overall, Phyno is officially my Nigerian Drake from worst
behavior.
If you stick to your dialect you will and can never go
wrong, and if phyno keep sounding like this even I will tell the world I know
you.
The guy is going places mahn.....I love his music and this alobam is so on point....even if I don't understand what he's saying LOL. Good job Oyinkan
