Its no news Psquare is the most successful and popular singing duo in Nigeria if not Africa. Their latest video Shekini dropped weeks ago making it the second video released from their 6th album Double Trouble; multiple trouble is exactly the kind of feeling I had after watching Shekini.

Lets Talk Review
Shekini is the second of their studio released album Double Trouble following Ejeajo (if you miss it...Click here.). Although Shekini is weak compared to Ejeajo with over one million views on YouTube, I didn't get any good vibe from this song compared to what duo is known to deliver. The duo stuck to more familiar territory which was their steps and dancers; who were good (no surprise there) but the video failed to impress, even with that and more..... it was still flat.

However, an underground dance concept is quite brilliant if the entire production was done well. A concept this nice should have a befitting dope-est beatz and song to go with it. The moment you are up staged by your back up dancers; who by the way commanded the video far more than the artist shows lack of good content that puts an artist in the I OWN THIS(not) type of performance. Listening to Shekini is by far the weakest beatz and lyrics ever released by Psquare, if the lyrics were not everywhere and the tittled is backed well instead of 'Shekini-ni-ni' that's was constantly thrown ( not inspiring at all).
Overall, aside from the underground concept and dancers; there's absolutely nothing exciting or spectacular about this video. No dope beatz, impressive lyrics, content or catchy chorus. In the end I don't know what the song means, what they are 'taking' and why 'Alhaji' was featured....sorry guyz; this is a MISS.
