Synopsis: Priscilla (Jackie Appiah) sacrifices everything to support Thompson (James Garner) her boyfriend with everything she has: love, money ,prayer and encouragement. She went against all warnings from her friends including Thompson's father.
Lets Talk Review
Thompson is a carpenter who has nothing to his name,Priscilla works as a fashion designer apprentice who gives every dime she has to Thompson and she also has nothing to her name. You would think Nollywood will ever come up with a different story line (when pigs fly), but presentation and manner of delivery is what is selling and all the cast member performed really well. This is a touching story about love filled with suspense,drama and comedy thanks to Fred Amugi dozing the movie with refreshing laughter
Amidst the comedic behaviour of the father in law(Fred Amudi) lies a wonderful story,Thompson and his father's story, Pricilia and her two friends all entwined together to make one fabulous story. The suspense surrounding Thompson sudden change is not the typical Ghollywood reason money miss road but for unexplainable reason ( not voodoo either),all leading to verbal and physical assaults. There was an hilarious scene (one out of many) when Pricilia supported Thompson and his father told her she needs to be taken to an herbalist because shes the sick one for her to be faithfully in love with his son.
The directing, location and costume were great, however Evelyn (Roselyn Ngissah) had the same hair style for 2years based on the movie timeline (really), we know some movies wrap up in 6weeks or less, but if you want us to believe the timeline in the finished products, please find some wigs for make believe.
Furthermore, there are some words that should not be use as comedy and RAPE is one of it, Thompson's father got into an argument with a woman and he threatened to rape her....that sir is a NO NO.
Overall, this is a movie you need to watch. patience, jealousy and most of all hope.
