Selfie

I was blown away when I first heard YOYO by Selebobo. I thought the video was fresh, clean and different. Today I finally watched his latest video Selfie from TMGcrew album 'The Evolution'. Its an absolute brilliant idea to name the video Selfie, the video and songs is so not what I expect (which was total disaster) but I judged him based on his last music video YOYO and took a chance; I just wanted to see what the young man was going to do now. Selfie was directed by Matt Max and it featured members of the Triple MG crew.


Lets talk Review
The Video started with a concept I thought was nice,listening to his previous hit song YOYO as he lays on bed taking multiple selfies ( I don't like his sag pants though). We all know selfie is the newest stunt in the social media world,( Guilty of selfies: Instagram handle:hawtdoux) his comic acts was awesome but making it into a song; filled with comic behavior and complete quirkiness is simply GENIUS.
      This was entertaining, I am not one of those that takes selfie(s) in a car boot or hood but I will take a selfie anywhere else including the restroom (off course....you wont know its the restroom); just as long as the pic is good. There was a scene in the video when a ghost face-like person photo bombed his selfie....he turned the table on the villain and ex-ed him out ( now that's just serious).
      The production and quality of the video was well delivered,(great job to TMG crew). the video is very simple, and Selebobo just made my list of  artist that are capable of delivering world wide, relate-able and danceable song and with this video. He delivered this simple video, concept and yet impressive.. from the beginning to the end.
      Personally, this is a song I will hum to and it proves that Selebobo's skill(s) will continue to shine through, if he continues with his choice of lyric, concept and hit hooks
