Tipsy Ft. Olamide

Soo' Le

Three years ago, after it became clear that performing in the native tongue is another way to go ( huge success) thanks to Lord of Ajasa. It was so uncertain if anybody else can do it,fast forward to now; we have Olamide, Phyno and now we have a female rapper TIPSY (power to women...hehe).
Months after the song was released the new rapper and her team released her new music video Soo'le,the video begins with a very promising journey with dancers dropping and twerking (hence ..soo'le).

Lets Talk Review
Tipsy slowly emerging from a hoody; letting the world know a new female rapper is about to change
the rap game. From then on Tipsy went on to do her thing. The first verse was not my favorite, the second verse (hers) was a different story. She delivered line after line, some of which I don't agree with:

Owo ni mo wa gba mi o kin se ashi (I am here to make money; am not a prostitute)
(totally not necessary)...from vrs 1
And then in verse two; she went on and said
mo fi ori ti
mo fi idi ti
be ni pe mo wa ni labour
(contradicting)
Personally, I don't think this line should be coming from a woman and if it should; like she did; it should be followed up with a back up line saying the complete opposite or not just say that at all. Tipsy as a female rapper and woman cannot be sending a message about hustling in that manner, trying to be a successful hustler...by all means necessary. ( its bad enough that every successful woman is linked to some kind of way(s). That is a wrong choice of word and a very contradicting one at that.
In addition, the featured artist Lamide aka King baddo is efforlessly good and he just need to pay attention to the things he says....ewo Tipsy bon se twerk like Rhianna  and there was no place in the video where Tipsy who I would also love to see twerk did no such thing...blame it on editing?.
Overall, I love this woman and If she continues like this with originality in her choice of genre or any, she's bound to be successful. She and her team including Baddo just needs to understand that some of us actually listen to their song word for word and they need to know that .....Rhyme matters, it just have to sync and make sense even if its all about entertainment.
AND WITH TIPSY IN THE RAP GAME....THIS RAP GAME JUST GOT REAL.

To all dialect rap lovers, here is Tipsy brand new video Soo'le
